Russia setting up fund to support special military operation participants - Deputy PM

MOSCOW. Feb 27 (Interfax) - An order of Russian President Vladimir Putin is being drafted to set up a fund to support special military operation participants and their families, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said.

"A presidential order establishing the state fund is being drafted. Importantly, the head of state has ordered that this kind of support be provided nationwide in 2023," Golikova said at the opening of a center of support for special military operation participants and their families in Moscow.

Putin proposed in his address to the Federal Assembly that a special state fund be established to support special military operation participants and their families. "Fund offices shall open in all regions of the Russian Federation as early as this year," he said.
