Top Russian security official meets with Algeria's General Staff chief

MOSCOW. Feb 27 (Interfax) - Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev and Chief of Staff of Algeria's National People's Army Said Chanegriha have discussed cooperation between their countries' law enforcement agencies and security services, the press service for the Russian Security Council said.

"Nikolai Patrushev held meetings with Chief of the General Staff of Algeria Said Chanegriha and Director General of Documentation and External Security Mhenna Djebbar," the press service said.

"The parties discussed interaction between law enforcement agencies and security services, as well as other issues regarding Russia-Algeria cooperation in the field of security," it said.
