Bad weather forces SpaceX to postpone two Starlink group launches

WASHINGTON. Feb 27 (Interfax) - The launches of two Falcon 9 rockets scheduled to take place on Monday, carrying more mini satellites to join the orbital grouping, which provides the global Starlink Internet coverage, have been postponed until Tuesday, the developer said.

The delay is due to inclement weather, SpaceX said.

Tomorrow, one Falcon 9 rocket is to be launched with 21 satellites from Cape Canaveral in Florida, and the other, with 51 satellites, from the Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.

Since May 2019, SpaceX has launched more than 3,900 of such satellites. Some of them went out of order or were de-orbited. Over 3,600 remain active in orbit.
