Russian Central Military District's Mi-24 attack helicopters hold drill in Urals

YEKATERINBURG. Feb 28 (Interfax) - Mil Mi-24 attack helicopters of the Russian Central Military District have trained in the Kurgan region, the district press service said on Tuesday.

"Mi-24 cannons defeated the mock enemy's patrols in control of an advantageous frontline, prevented the deployment of the mock enemy's reserves and provided air support to the ground forces holding the seized height," it said.

About 100 troops took part in the exercise, it said.
