Ukrainian drones try to attack sites in Krasnodar Territory - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. Feb 28 (Interfax) - The Russian military reported having stopped an attempted attack by Ukrainian drones on sites in the Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygea.

"The Kiev regime tried to mount an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles on civilian infrastructure elements in the Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygea in the night hours of February 28," the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"ECM units of the Russian Armed Forces suppressed the UAVs," it said.

Both drones lost control and deviated from their flight trajectory, the ministry said.

"One UAV fell on a field, while the other drone deviated from its trajectory and failed to harm the targeted civilian infrastructure element," it said.
