MOSCOW. May 26 (Interfax) - The Odintsovo and Sovetsk corvettes have practiced firing Kalibr sea-launched cruise missiles at groups of ships and coastal facilities of a mock enemy in the Baltic Sea, the Russian Baltic Fleet's press service said on Friday.
"During a scheduled exercise, missile and artillery crews of the corvettes performed electronic solo and salvo launches at designated targets imitating groups of warships, concentration of military hardware and troops, missile launchers, airfields, road junctions, protected sites and command posts of the mock enemy," the press service said.
All designated targets were hit by electronic launches, it said.
"The firing drill was held amid jamming created on purpose to complicate the mission," the press service said.
