ROSTOV-ON-DON. July 18 (Interfax) - A temporary arrangement for vehicle traffic on the Crimean Bridge has been worked out, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said.
"Vehicle traffic on the Crimean Bridge has been restored in reverse mode along the rightmost lane from Taman to Kerch! As we reported to the president today, we prepared the bridge for the resumption [of traffic] in the shortest possible time. A temporary arrangement for vehicle traffic on the bridge has been worked out," Khusnullin said on his Telegram channel.
A preliminary examination of the bridge's spans was conducted, which confirmed that their condition makes it possible to restart traffic, he said.
"Before making a decision on resuming traffic, the span was additionally tested. Lighting was installed on the damaged spans using a temporary scheme. It will be fully restored during repairs," Khusnullin said.
