MOSCOW. Sept 11 (Interfax) - Sergei Sobyanin wins the Moscow mayoral election with 76.39% of votes, as 100% of protocols have been processed, the Russian Central Elections Commission said.
Member of the Russian Communist Party's Moscow City Committee Bureau, Chairman of the Moscow City Duma Commission on Science and Industry Leonid Zyuganov ranks second with 8.11% of the vote, and State Duma Deputy Speaker, Liberal Democratic Party candidate Boris Chernyshov ranks third with 5.61% of the vote.
State Duma Deputy Speaker, New People candidate Vladislav Davankov and first deputy head of the State Duma faction of A Just Russia - For Truth Dmitry Gusev follow with 5.34% and 3.93% of votes respectively.
There were five candidates in the Moscow mayoral election, namely incumbent Mayor Sobyanin, State Duma Deputy Speaker, Liberal Democratic Party candidate Boris Chernyshov, State Duma Deputy Speaker, New People candidate Vladislav Davankov, Member of the Russian Communist Party's Moscow City Committee Bureau, Chairman of the Moscow City Duma Commission on Science and Industry Leonid Zyuganov, and first deputy head of the State Duma faction of A Just Russia - For Truth Dmitry Gusev.
