BAKU. Sept 28 (Interfax) - The Azerbaijani authorities will register all people who live in the Karabakh economic region as part of the reintegration of Karabakh's Armenians, the Azerbaijani presidential administration has said.
Requests will be accepted electronically, it said.
"To ensure the stable reintegration of Armenian residents living in Azerbaijan's Karabakh economic region into Azerbaijani society, the working group [led by Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev] for solving social, humanitarian, economic and infrastructure issues in the Karabakh region has received orders for establishing the legal status of these people," the administration said.
At its first stage, the work envisages registration of people living in the Karabakh economic region. Requests will be accepted and registration will be done electronically by the State Migration Service using a special portal created for this purpose.
