MAKHACHKALA. Oct 31 (Interfax) - A court in Dagestan on Tuesday sentenced several participants in the October 29 riots at Makhachkala airport, the Dagestani Supreme Court said.
"According to the court rulings handed down on October 31, the men were found guilty of committing an offense under Part 2, Article 20.1 of the Russian Administrative Offenses Code [petty hooliganism]. One of them was sentenced to administrative arrest for 10 days; four others were given a similar penalty for six days," it said.
The rulings can be appealed at the Dagestani Supreme Court within 10 days of the date that copies of the rulings are delivered or received.
