MOSCOW. Dec 19 (Interfax) - Russian forces are receiving up to 15,000 tonnes of munitions daily on the front lines, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said.
"Up to 15,000 tonnes of munitions and fuel, as well as 2,000 tonnes of food and 1,500 tonnes of drinking water are being supplied to the groups of forces daily to replenish their consumption," Shoigu said at an expanded meeting of the Russian Defense Ministry board on Tuesday.
Along with the full provision of the groups of forces, reserves of 500,000 sets of clothing and individual armor kits, 300,000 individual first-aid kits, and 160 vehicles for evacuation of the wounded have been provided, he said.
"The levels of remuneration for contract service members, volunteers and mobilized service members are balanced and amount to 210,000 rubles and higher per month, depending on the position held and performance of combat missions," Shoigu said.
