MOSCOW. April 5 (Interfax) - A number of missile ships and boats of the Russian Baltic Fleet have practiced firing artillery at mock enemy targets, the fleet's press service said in a statement on Friday.
"While at sea, the ships and boats conducted a series of joint artillery drills with surface and air targets," the statement said.
Strike groups comprising the Serpukhov and Naro-Fominsk missile ships and the Chuvashia, Dimitrovgrad and Morshansk missile boats carried out the mission, the fleet's press service said.
The ships fired 30mm AK-630 six-barrel artillery systems, AK-190 and AK-176 artillery guns, and heavy machineguns, the press service said.
It was a scheduled exercise, it said.
