YEKATERINBURG. April 10 (Interfax) - Russia and Tajikistan will conduct joint military exercises at Tajikistan's Kharb-Maidon range on April 15-18, the Central Military District said on Wednesday.
"Personnel from the Central Military District's 201st Military Base have started regrouping in Tajikistan to take part in a planned joint bilateral exercise of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan's armed forces, the active phase of which will take place on April 15-18, 2024," it said.
Russian personnel have already arrived at the Kharb-Maidon range in Tajikistan, it said.
The 201st Military Base in Tajikistan is the largest Russian military facility outside of the country's national territory. It is stationed in the cities of Dushanbe and Bokhtar and comprises motorized infantry, tank, artillery, reconnaissance, air defense, radiation, chemical and biological protection, and communications units.
