MOSCOW. June 14 (Interfax) - Russia is ready for dialogue with European states on building an indivisible Eurasian security system, and the basic principles of this dialogue should be unchanged despite the events in Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"We are ready for dialogue with our partners in the CSTO and the SCO, which are making a tangible constructive contribution to the settlement of the Ukraine crisis, as well as with the West, including European states. We could begin carrying out a fundamental task, i.e. the construction of an indivisible system of European security that takes into account the interests of all states on the continent without exception," Putin said at the conclusion of his speech at the Russian Foreign Ministry.
"Of course, a literal return to the security proposals that we made 20 years ago, and even two years ago, is impossible - too much has happened, the circumstances have changed, but the basic principles and, most importantly, the subject of the dialogue itself remain unchanged," Putin said.
