MOSCOW. June 17 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin will have a one-to-one meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un during his visit to Pyongyang to discuss the most important and sensitive issues, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said.
"The schedule is quite busy, with talks in various formats, including an expanded format and informal exchanges between the leaders. By the way, quite a lot of time will be dedicated to informal exchanges between the leaders, since the most important [and] the most sensitive issues will be discussed during these talks, which certain members of the delegations may be invited to participate in," Ushakov told reporters ahead of Putin's state visit to North Korea.
Putin and Kim Jong Un will have long discussions in the one-to-one format, and if necessary, delegation members will be invited to join them, he said.
The Russian delegation include Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, Defense Minister Andrei Belousov, Natural Resources Minister Alexander Kozlov, Health Minister Mikhail Murashko, Transport Minister Roman Starovoit, Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko, Roscosmos head Yury Borisov, Russian Railways CEO Oleg Belozyorov and Primorye Territory Governor Oleg Kozhemyako.
Putin will visit North Korea on June 18-19 on a state visit at the invitation of Kim Jong Un.
