MOSCOW. June 24 (Interfax) - Russia continues to work to reconcile its nuclear doctrine with present-day realities, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"President Putin said that the discussion is ongoing and the doctrine's reconciliation with today realities is being worked on. This work is being done," Peskov told reporters on Monday, when asked whether Russia's nuclear doctrine is being revised to cut the decision-making time on a retaliatory strike.
