MOSCOW. June 24 (Interfax) - The U.S. involvement in attacks on Crimea must have consequences, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"Naturally, the U.S. involvement in the hostilities killing civilians must have consequences. Time will show what exact consequences they will be," Peskov said.
He was asked whether Russia was planning diplomatic or other measures against the United States, whose missiles were fired at Crimea.
The president made "very important statements" last week, in particular at a meeting with the heads of world news agencies, Peskov said.
"It was a matter of Russia's possible actions," he said.
