Putin, acting Iranian President Mokhber discuss Moscow-Tehran cooperation in phone call - Kremlin

MOSCOW. June 26 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and acting Iranian President Mohammad Mokhber have had a phone call to discuss continued mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation in all key areas, the Kremlin press service said on Wednesday.

"In particular, the parties particularly praised the successfully advancing interaction in the energy sector and the implementation of ambitious infrastructural projects," it said.

"The Russian president wished the Iranian people to successfully hold the upcoming presidential elections, stressing his confidence that Russian-Iranian friendly relations will continue to develop progressively," it said.
