Russian Defense Ministry: Southern group of forces takes control of Razdolovka in DPR, advances to more advantageous locations (Part 2)

MOSCOW. June 28 (Interfax) - Russia's southern group of forces has taken control of the community of Razdolovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and advanced to more advantageous positions in that section of the front line, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Friday.

"Owing to their active moves, units of the southern group of forces liberated the community of Razdolovka in the DPR and advanced to more advantageous positions. They inflicted damage on the personnel and hardware of three mechanized, two airmobile, and two air assault brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces," it said.

"Over this period, the enemy lost up to 4,410 troops, two tanks, eight armored fighting vehicles, 48 automobiles, and 39 field artillery guns, including 11 U.S.-made M777 and M198 howitzers. In addition, seven Anklav and Bukovel electronic warfare stations and 25 field ammunition storage facilities have been destroyed," it said.
