KUBINKA, Moscow region. Aug 12 (Interfax) - The gaze of defense agencies from states on every continent are on Russian weapons amid the special military operation, Russian Industry and Trade Minister Anton Alikhanov said at the opening ceremony of the Army 2024 forum on Monday.
"This is an authoritative event, which clearly demonstrates the growing potential of the Russian defense sector every year, makes it possible to track the evolution of technologies in the military sphere, [and] connects customers and manufacturers of military and dual-purpose products. The gaze of defense agencies from states on every continent are on Russian weapons amid the special military operation," Alikhanov said.
Russian weapons are tested in highly intensive combat, in a difficult situation regarding interference, and with the active use of unmanned systems and new counterbattery warfare technologies, he said.
"To ensure the perfecting and improvement of products, we have achieved an unprecedented level of interaction between the Defense Ministry and industry. It enables enterprises to react to all the needs of the front promptly and effectively," Alikhanov said.
