KUBINKA, Moscow region. Aug 12 (Interfax) - Thousands of types of weapons and equipment are in use in the special military operation zone, and around 300 of them are in especially high demand, Russian Industry and Trade Minister Anton Alikhanov said at the opening of the Army 2024 forum on Monday.
"The special military operation uses thousands of types of weapons and hardware. Among these, we have identified around 300 that are in especially high demand. The Russian defense industry continues to ramp up production of these priority weaponry. This is achieved mainly through capacity modernization and expansion, personnel reinforcement, [and] the rhythmic growth of labor productivity at enterprises," Alikhanov said.
