Plans to prepare for Su-34 bomber exports being implemented - Russia's Rosoboronexport

KUBINKA, Moscow region. Aug 13 (Interfax) - Plans to prepare for exports of Sukhoi Su-34E bombers are being implemented, Rosoboronexport head Alexander Mikheyev told Interfax on Tuesday.

"Rosoboronexport's plans to prepare for exports of the Su-34E are being implemented successfully," Mikheyev said at the Army 2024 forum.

"The Su-34 fighter-bomber is the main attack plane of the special military operation. It has proved valuable in the hostilities and therefore has drawn keen attention from foreign partners," he said.

The Su-34 was designed to strike ground and surface targets any time of the day and in any weather. It carries long-range guided air-to-surface and air-to-air weapons and eight tonnes of combat payload on 12 hard-points. The plane operates at a long range of up to 4,000 kilometers and has a fast speed of up to 1,900 kilometers per hour.
