MOSCOW. Aug 14 (Interfax) - Russian forces are hitting Abrams and Leopard tanks in the special military operation zone with the simplest FPV drones, Alexander Osadchuk, head of the Russian Defense Ministry's Innovative Development Department, said.
"We remember how they advertised Abrams and Leopard [tanks] worth millions of dollars. What burned them up? The simplest FPV drones, the Piranya and Ovod, which are worth some 50,000 rubles," Osadchuk said in an interview with the Zvezda TV channel.
"Unmanned vehicles are already the dominant weapon. Unmanned vehicles used in air, ground and water. And [ones] of various classes," he said.
