Air defense repels Ukrainian missile strike on Lugansk - LPR govt

LUGANSK. Oct 29 (Interfax) - Air defense has repelled a Ukrainian missile strike on Lugansk, the government of the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR) said in a statement on Tuesday.

"The Ukrainian Armed Forces have taken another attempt to strike Lugansk with an unidentified type of missiles. Air defense repelled the attack," the LPR government said on Telegram.

Some of the Ukrainian missiles detonated in a Lugansk industrial area. Emergency services are working at the scene, it said.
