Russian Defense Ministry: Ukrainian forces lose 28,300 troops in Kursk sector to date

MOSCOW. Oct 30 (Interfax) - Ukrainian forces have lost more than 28,000 troops in the Kursk sector to date, including more than 350 in the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.

"In the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost over 350 troops, in addition to 25 armored hardware pieces, including a tank, an infantry vehicle and 23 armored combat vehicles, as well as two mortars, an armored maintenance and evacuation vehicle and 25 trucks," the ministry said in a statement.

"Since the start of hostilities in the Kursk sector, the enemy has lost over 28,300 troops, 180 tanks, 101 infantry vehicles, 106 armored personnel carriers, 1,055 armored combat vehicles, 759 trucks, 240 artillery systems, 40 multiple rocket launchers, including 11 HIMARS and six MLRS made in the United States, and nine air defense missile launchers," it said.

Additionally, seven transporter-loaders, 58 electronic warfare stations, 12 counterbattery radars, three air defense radars and 25 engineering and other vehicles have been destroyed since the beginning of hostilities in the Kursk sector, the ministry said.
