ASTANA. Nov 6 (Interfax) - Kazakh Security Council Secretary Gizat Nurdauletov and Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu signed a cooperation plan for the period until 2028 after consultations in Moscow, the Kazakh presidential press service said on Wednesday.
"A new plan of cooperation for the 2025-2027 period was signed at the end of the event," the press service said.
The talks addressed vital cooperation issues, in particular, they exchanged opinions on regional security issues, including countering international terrorism and extremism, as well as the state and prospects of development of the situation in the Caspian region, the press service said.
Consultations between the administrations of the two countries' security councils take place regularly.
