MOSCOW. Nov 7 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Armed Forces planned to seize the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) during their incursion into the Kursk region, Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu said.
"The aggression in the Kursk region had the goal of seizing the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant. Regular strikes on the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant and related critical infrastructure are continuing. What is it if not an attempt to commit acts of nuclear terrorism?" Shoigu said at a meeting of Security Council secretaries of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Moscow on Thursday.
