MOSCOW. Dec 19 (Interfax) - Russia is ready for talks with Ukraine without preconditions, yet they should be based on the Istanbul agreements, with due account of realities on the ground, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"We set no preconditions. We are ready for dialogue without preconditions, but on the basis of what we have agreed upon, I have said so a hundred times, during in the negotiation process in Istanbul in 2022, and with due account of current realities on the ground," Putin said at his end-of-year press conference on Thursday.
