Kremlin: Kiev, Chisinau responsible for crisis in gas supply to Transdniestria

MOSCOW. Jan 9 (Interfax) - The discontinuation of gas supply from Russia to Transdniestria has spurred a crisis, for which Kiev and Chisinau are responsible, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday.

"Russia has supplied natural gas for many years, owing to which Transdniestria has actually lived. Because of Ukraine's and the Moldovan authorities' decision, Transdniestria has lost this opportunity now. The situation is critical indeed," Peskov told journalists.
