MOSCOW. Jan 10 (Interfax) - Units of the Russian Armed Forces' northern group of forces struck seven brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and repelled their four counterattacks in the Kursk region, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Friday.
"Four enemy counterattacks were repelled," the ministry said in a statement.
Units of the northern group of forces inflicted damage on seven brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near 11 localities in the Kursk region, the statement said.
Tactical and army aircraft and artillery weapons struck troops and hardware of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near 23 localities in the Kursk region and six localities in the Sumy region, it said.
