Presidents of Russia, Iran to hold talks in Kremlin on Fri - Peskov

MOSCOW. Jan 14 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian will hold talks at the Kremlin on Friday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"They will be held in Moscow, at the Kremlin," Peskov told journalists in response to a related question.

The signing of a bilateral treaty of comprehensive strategic partnership will be a very important element of the Iranian president's upcoming visit to Moscow, he said.

"This event is very important to us, we attach great significance to it," Peskov said, adding that the two presidents were planning to make a press statement.
