MOSCOW. Feb 21 (Interfax) - The director of Russia's National Defense Control Center, Stanislav Gadzhimagomedov, was awarded the military rank of colonel general after Russian President Vladimir Putin had signed a relevant decree.
The text of the decree was published on the official legal information website on Friday.
According to the decree, Black Sea Fleet Commander Sergei Pinchuk was awarded the admiral rank.
Andrei Ivanayev, the commander of the eastern group of forces of the Russian Armed Forces, was given the rank of colonel general, the decree said.
Vladimir Kravchenko was also given the colonel general rank. According to the website of the Russian Defense Ministry, he is the commander of the 11th Air Force and Air Defense Army.
In addition, first deputy head of the Russian Defense Ministry's information and mass communications department Alexei Komarov was awarded the rank of major general in accordance with the Russian presidential decree.
