MOSCOW. March 11 (Interfax) - Russian investigators probing the massive Ukrainian drone attack on the Moscow area are working to determine the locations from where the drones were launched and the people responsible for this, Russian Investigative Committee spokesperson Svetlana Petrenko said.
"Work is underway to establish all the details of the terrorist attack, including to identify the exact locations from where unmanned aerial vehicles were launched from Ukrainian territory, as well as individuals responsible for that," Petrenko told journalists on Tuesday.
Petrenko said earlier that a criminal case on terrorism charges had been launched following the drone attack on the Moscow area.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said earlier today that 74 unmanned combat aerial vehicles approaching Moscow were downed on Tuesday morning in what appeared to be the most massive drone attack on Moscow ever.
According to Alexei Kuznetsov, aide to the Russian health minister, two people were killed and 18 others were injured in the drone attack on the Moscow area on Tuesday. One of the casualties was in critical and another in serious condition resulting from the attack, he said.
