Debris of 3 Ukrainian drones neutralized in Russia's Taganrog

ROSTOV-ON-DON. April 2 (Interfax) - All parts of the Ukrainian drones that attacked Taganrog in the Rostov region have been neutralized, and the damage is being evaluated, Taganrog Mayor Svetlana Kambulova said on Telegram.

"Drone debris was found at three locations in Taganrog last night. Later, debris was discovered near a railway crossing. Specialists have visited every location and neutralized drone debris containing explosives," Kambulova said.

According to updated information, one person sustained light injuries by glass shards in the last night attack. Earlier reports said there were two injured people.

A commission is evaluating the damage done at all sites.

As reported, drones attacked apartment buildings in Taganrog in the small hours of Wednesday. Two apartment buildings were damaged, and one drone got stuck in trees.

Eighty-five tenants were evacuated from a damaged house, acting governor of the Rostov region Yury Slyusar said. Load-bearing structures were intact, and the buildings stayed connected to utilities, he said.

An emergency was declared in Taganrog after the drone attack.
