Number of people hurt in Ukrainian drone attack on Russia's Voronezh grows to 22 - governor

VORONEZH. July 15 (Interfax) - The number of people injured in an overnight Ukrainian drone attack on Voronezh has grown, Voronezh region governor Alexander Gusev said.

"According to the latest information from doctors, the total number of injured has reached 24 people (including 22 in Voronezh). Of these, four are minors with injuries of varying severity: one is in satisfactory condition, two are in moderately severe condition, and another is in grave condition," Gusev wrote on his Telegram channel on Tuesday.

A 56-year-old man is in a coma, while experts assess the condition of two more adults as severe, and nine are in moderately severe condition. Five are in satisfactory condition. Most of the victims have cut wounds to their arms and legs.

"Seventeen people, including children, are undergoing treatment at leading medical institutions in Voronezh. The rest of them are being treated as outpatients," Gusev said.

Gusev earlier said 16 people had been injured, 15 of whom had been wounded in the region's center.
