BISHKEK. March 24 (Interfax-AVN) - The opposition has released Kyrgyz Defense Minister Essen Topoyev and National Security Service Chairman Kalyky Imankulov, Bishkek sources told Interfax with the reference to preliminary information.
The opposition supporters who broke into the government building seized Topoyev and Imankulov earlier in the day.
The sources did not give Interfax details of the release.
They said that Topoyev and Imankulov are staying in the Kyrgyz Defense Ministry building.
Interfax has not received confirmation of this report from official sources.
