Putin orders ministries to consider aid for Kyrgyzstan

MOSCOW. March 28 (Interfax-AVN) - President Vladimir Putin has instructed the Agriculture Ministry and the Emergency Situations Ministry to consider possible assistance for Kyrgyzstan.

"I'm talking about assistance for the upcoming spring sowing campaign and the reconstruction of Bishkek facilities. People in charge of Kyrgyzstan have asked us for help," Putin told government members on Monday.

"The political processes in Kyrgyzstan have not calmed down," Putin said.

"We won't comment on these events but, bearing in mind our special relations with the people of Kyrgyzstan and humanitarian aspects, we must give aid if necessary," Putin said.
