Federal forces kill guerilla who planned terror attacks

KHANKALA. April 8 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian federal forces have killed a guerilla who planned terrorist attacks against five heads of Chechen district administrations, spokesman for the federal forces in the North Caucasus Major General Ilya Shabalkin told Interfax on Friday.

"Federal forces located outside Grozny and attempted to apprehend Adam Tepsukayev, a wanted guerilla leader coming from Argun, who put up resistance and was killed. He had reported to Arab mercenary Abu al-Walid since 2002," Shabalkin said.
