TBILISI. April 11 (Interfax-AVN) - Command post exercise for the commanding personnel of the reserve has started at the headquarters of the Georgian National Guards.
"The training at the headquarters of the National Guards is organized for the commanders and staff officers of reserve battalions, and will end on Friday," Khvicha Gudzhedzhiani, a spokesman for the National Guards leadership, told a news conference Monday.
He recalled that the latest training of this category of reservists was organized at the field camps in Gori, Osiauri, Sachkher and Dzevera in 2004.
He added that National Guards' best-qualified instructors and U.S. servicemen are involved to instruct the reservists.
"Brigadier General Joseph Kutateladze, the National Guards Commander, is supervising the training with the commanding personnel of the reserve," he said.
According to him, most of the attention in the training if focused on refining the patterns for reservists' mobilization and combat operation planning.
