Permanent readiness units in Siberian Military District raised on training alert – press service

CHITA. April 11 (Interfax-AVN) - Some permanent-readiness units of the Siberian Military District were raised on training alert, Colonel Valery Shcheblanin, the Siberian Military District press service chief, told Interfax-Military News Agency Monday.

"In order to inspect the readiness of some units, we raised them on alert. Some of them headed for specified areas to fulfil training missions with their organic vehicles. As of now, all of the detachments returned to bases," he said.

According to him, the event was organized in light of the forthcoming inspection of Siberian Military District's military administration to be held by the Russian Defense Ministry.
