VLADIKAVKAZ. April 22 (Interfax-AVN) - An unemployed female resident of Vladikavkaz has given up a large batch of ammunition to the police, a spokesman for North Ossetian law-enforcement agencies said on Friday.
The arsenal contained an Alazan shell, four F-1 grenades, 3 kg of TNT, over 300 cartridges of various caliber, and 129.4 kg of a substance that resembles ammonal, the spokesman told Interfax-Military News Agency. The substance was sent for expert examination.
"The woman said that she found the ammunition in her father's apartment after his death," the spokesman noted.
An investigation into the matter is underway.
