MOSCOW. April 22 (Interfax-AVN) - Georgia has fully disbanded the reservist training camp in the village of Dzevera in the Georgian-Ossetian conflict zone, Major General Kulakhmetov, commander of the Joint Peacekeeping Force, said on Friday.
"The check that we performed jointly with OSCE observers showed that the Georgian authorities had indeed disbanded the reservist training camp in the village of Dzevera in the Gori district," Kulakhmetov told Interfax-Military News Agency by phone from Tskhinvali.
The commander sent a notification on the camp's disbandment to the co-chairmen of the Joint Control Commission for conflict settlement.
Kulakhmetov praised the measure taken by Georgia.
"In addition, the parties will submit to the Unified Headquarters of the Joint Peacekeeping Force the schedule of renewal of fortifications removal on Fridat or early next week. The fortifications were erected during the armed crisis in summer 2004," the general said.
