MINSK. May 20 (Interfax-AVN) - Belarus has handed suspected Chechen guerilla Nurmansamed Khatuyev, who is said to belong to a unit under Shamil Basayev's orders, to Russia, the Belarussian prosecutor's office told Interfax on Friday.
"This resident of Grozny has been turned over to Russia by Belarussian law enforcement agencies on the basis of the 1993 Minsk extradition convention," the prosecutor's office said.
