Sukhoi military, civil aircraft to be displayed at Paris Air Show 2005

MOSCOW. June 9 (Interfax-AVN) - The Sukhoi Aircraft Holding Company will display almost the whole range of exported Su-family combat aircraft, as well as civil aircraft at the Paris Air Show 2005 to be held in Le Bourget on June 13-19, 2005.

"The Sukhoi exhibition, which accounts for the major part of the Russian exposition, will display Su-family combat and civil aircraft, including the upgraded Su-27SKM fighter, the Su-30MK multi-role fighter, the Su-35 multi-role fighter, the Su-39 attack aircraft, the Su-32 future attack aircraft, and the Su-47 prototype," the Sukhoi press-service told Interfax-Military News Agency.

According to the press-service, the military exposition will include major aircraft armament and weapons control systems, for instance, the R-27R1, R-73E, and RVV-AE air-to-air missiles and the X-29TE air-to-surface missiles, presented by the Vympel and the Raduga design bureaus. Participants in the show will also be able to examine the Zond-1, Zond-2, and Zond-3 UAVs.

Much attention has been focused on civil aircraft, for instance, the RRJ-95 family aircraft. The Paris Air Show 2005 will for the first time see mock-ups of the passenger cabin and the cockpit of the RRJ.

The new Su-80 multi-role local and regional airliner will be displayed as a mock-up.
