MOSCOW. June 14 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia is satisfied with the outcome of talks on military issues held with Georgia last week.
"We regard the outcome as quite satisfactory," Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Yakovenko said, responding to questions from the press.
"The bulk of the text of the legal document related to the withdrawal of Russian military bases from Georgia has been agreed upon," Yakovenko said in answers posted on the ministry's website on Tuesday.
"Some problems remain to be settled that have no fundamental political significance and require additional input by experts," he said.
"We also expect that the issue of transferring the Russia tank repair plant in Tbilisi to the Georgian Defense Ministry will be fully resolved in the next few days," he said.
Yakovenko said the next round of talks would likely be held in Moscow on Thursday and Friday.
