MOSCOW. July 21 (Interfax-AVN) - A Russian Proton rocket will put into orbit Canada's Anik F1R telecom satellite from Baikonur in mid-September, a Federal Space Agency report received by Interfax on Thursday says.
"Baikonur is readying a Proton-M rocket for the launch of the Anik F1R telecom satellite," the Agency said.
"The rocket will be tested and stored. Further preparations will depend on the Anik F1R satellite, which is being prepared for shipment to the Astrium plant in Toulouse. Anik F1R may be launched from Baikonur in mid-September," the report runs.
