MOSCOW. Sept 6 (Interfax-AVN) - Twenty specialists in mobilization activity will graduate from the Sukhumi Joint-Arms College on September 12, Lieutenant General Anatoly Zaitsev, Abkhaz first deputy defense minister and Armed Forces chief of staff, said on Tuesday.
"Twenty officers specializing in mobilization activity have got extensive three-month training in the college," Zaitsev told Interfax-Military News Agency by phone.
"The training of reserve and its timely mobilization are the backbone of Abkhazia's defense capability, and that is why special importance is assigned to this sector," he stressed.
According to Zaitsev, it is the second graduation of specialists in mobilization activity this year. Moreover, 20 artillerists graduated from the Sukhumi College after a year-long training in July. The artillerists had been sent to the college by military units.
