Russia to help Kazakhstan fulfil national space exploration program

MOSCOW. Nov 15 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia will provide assistance to Kazakhstan in fulfilling its national space program, Viktor Remishevsky, deputy head of the Russian Federal Space Agency, said.

He made the statement before leaving for Almaty to take part in the Kazakh Second Innovations Congress on promoting cooperation in the field of space exploration, the official web site of the Russian Federal Space Agency says.

"In the course of consultations and negotiations Russian organizations will confirm their readiness to provide assistance in fulfilling the Kazakh Space Exploration Program," Remishevsky said.

He will take part in a meeting of the round table, conducted within the framework of the congress, and deliver a report on Russian-Kazakh cooperation, aimed at fulfilling national, bilateral, and multilateral programs in the field of space exploration, the press-release said.

In the course of negotiations with Kazakh parties concerned Remishevsky will discuss plans, aimed at expanding the Russian-Kazakh cooperation in various spheres of space exploration, determined by bilateral Russian-Kazakh documents.
