U.S., Ukrainian aviation experts to share experience in material-technical support

KYIV. Nov 15 (Interfax-AVN) - U.S. military experts will share with Ukrainian military pilots the experience in material and technical support of aviation activities during peacekeeping operations, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's press service said on Tuesday.

"The U.S. delegation is led by Brent Brockington, operation department head of the USAF 493rd fighter squadron, RAF Lakenheath, Great Britain. The main goal of its visit is to share experience with Ukrainian colleagues in planning and development of aviation material and technical support programs in the course of preparing for and conducting peacekeeping operations," a press service official told Interfax-Military News Agency.

While staying in Ukraine, U.S. pilots will visit a bomber brigade of the Ukrainian Air Force, stationed in the Khmelnytsky region and part of the air component of the Unified Quick Response Forces.

During bilateral professional briefings, the U.S. experts will brief Ukrainian military pilots on the order of planning engineer-aviation, missile-technical, and meteorological support of U.S. military aviation actions during peacekeeping operations.

The U.S. delegation's visit will last until Friday.
