MOSCOW. Nov 15 (Interfax-AVN) - Over 200 enterprises, including foreign ones, will take part in the 5th all-Russian exhibition entitled Russian Manufacturers and Armed Forces Supply, which Moscow will host on November 22-24.
"Over 230 enterprises producing goods and offering services, which are based in 55 Russian regions, as well as in Belarus, Latvia and Germany, have expressed their will to show their products and latest developments at the exhibition," Alexander Kolpakov, press service chief of the Armed Forces logistics support department, told Interfax-Military News Agency on Tuesday.
Over 45 percent of the companies are taking part in the exhibition for the first time, and about 40 percent of the participants are the companies from Moscow and the Moscow region, Kolpakov noted.
Exhibits will include military uniform updated in accordance with President Vladimir Putin's decree, as well as combat and everyday food rations. The participants will offer their best foodstuffs for a domestic competition, and the winners will get gold, silver and bronze medals.
The exhibition's main sections are: Food, Appliances, Medicine, New Achievements of Science and Technology for Logistics Support, Fire-Fighting Uniform and Equipment, Raw Materials, Mechanization and Automation Assets, Health Protection Assets and Active Rest Services.
